Biggest Loser Wii Update

I didn’t have exercise in my slot today on my BL for the Wii so I decided to try a challenge.  Wow I am so out of shape but I am proud to say I busted my butt, almost threw up and won the challenge.  I beat out six other contestants so all those rounds of circuit training (lunges and standing mountain climbers) did the trick.  I still feel like I can’t catch my breath but I keep telling myself it will be worth it.  If I keep updating you can you keep leaving me motivating comments?  Remember I am just trying to maintain through the holidays but I know with the food around that will take a lot of work.  Thanks for being here!  ~ Heather

Well I gained 4 pounds earlier this week. The whole yo-yo weight loss thing is driving me nuts.  I thought I would be smart and do stairs earlier this week and I think I did something to my calves.  For the past couple of days I can barely walk.  Hubby says I overdid it on my muscles and they are in shock. So on to another week and hopefully I will be able to walk without pain again.

No weight change this week.  I haven’t done a lot of moving my back is still achy from my kidney infection but at least I can move now.  I am not sure if it is possible but I really think I am bloated from all the meds that I have been taking.  In some of my reading this week I found an article that will be interesting to any of you that have gained weight while suffering from Fibromyalgia.  It does give some good eating tips for weight loss.

Bloggest Loser Week 3

This week was not so good.  I was up 1.5 pounds on Wednesday at my weigh in.  I planned on getting more consistent with my exercise but I am beginning to feel like I didn’t plan very well.  I have gotten in one Walk Away The Pounds session and the rest has been heavy house cleaning.  I could have done better I think but we will see come Wednesday again.  I still have time!

The challenge this past week from my group was to have 2 dairy servings a day and I passed that easily.  We also gained two new members and one is my age which I am thrilled about.  I haven’t had much time to check in with any of the bloggest loser gals this week and I hope they are all doing well.  I will be sure to check their posts later.  This week I am going to work on killing the soda habit I think I have it all out of the house or I will by the end of today for sure.

This week for the Sunday Slimdown at The Bloggest Loser we are being asked to answer the following question.
Question: Now that you’ve had a few weeks…what is your exercise routine? What does it consist of and how often?
My exercise is typically either Wii Active or Walk Away the Pounds DVDs.  I tend to exercise at night after the kids go to bed.  How often is a bit more sporadic.  I sometimes go from 7 days a week sometimes it is only 2.  I need to improve on the how often area.

As stated earlier this week I did weigh in .5 down from last week.  I am still fighting the weather quite badly with my fibromyalgia and I have been moving more slowly and very achy.  We will see where that leads come my weigh in group on Wednesday.  Right now I am trying to remain positive but I am not incredibly hopeful.
