Visit Kissimmee

I have never been to Florida but if I were to go Kissimmee seems to be the perfect choice.  Kissimmee is close to Orlando.  There are many things to do in this area such as theme parks, laying on the beach, outdoor bike riding and bird watching.  It would be really fun to rent a rental house and enjoy a few days roaming around the area.  You can drive and see the ocean within 2 hours.  My boys would love to go to Kennedy Space Center and I think Busch Gardens would be pretty fun.

If you didn’t have kids along for a day the Lakeridge Winery and Vinards would be nice to tour and taste some local wines.  The Seminole Hard Rock Casino would b a good way to end the day as well.  Maybe this would just be a good opening to taking a cruise out of Port Canaveral, one of the worlds busiest cruise ports. 

Maybe you are more of a nature person.  If so go hiking, take a trip down a zip line or go across Lake Toho on an airboat.  No matter what you enjoy you are likely to find something near Kissimmee.
