Noodles & Company

PinExt Noodles & Company

Today I finally (I have been not so patiently waiting) had the opportunity to try out Noodles & Company a great alternative to fast food or should I say a fast-casual restaurant chain with 240 locations.  Honestly, it was a huge upgrade from fast food.  Our meal arrived in less than 5 minutes and was piping hot and fresh!  My hubby had the Mushroom Stroganoff with Braised Beef which was delish.  My son had the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with Meatballs which was ooey gooey and wonderful (I am still working on the whole veggies with him but M&C is his fav!).  I opted for the seasonal (through June)  Asparagus and Lemon Linguine and it was wonderful.  I couldn’t finish my meal because of it’s size but that may be my own fault because I had to try the Tomato Basil Bisque which my hubby says “it has to be the star item on the menu”.

I am seriously wishing that Noodles & Company would find a location near to home since I frequently find it a challenge to find a healthy option with great veggies in our northwest area of Iowa.  On the other hand I guess it gives me something to look forward to when I travel to Illinois.

I really want to give all of you the opportunity to fall in love with Noodles & Company but instead I am just going to hold a giveaway and send someone with a guest to try 2 free noodle bowls.  The coupons are good through 12/2010 so if you don’t live near a location see if you are planning to be in the general area of one of the 240 before entering the contest.

HOW TO ENTER:

  1. Tell me what bowl you can’t wait to try (or your favorite if you already love Noodles & Company)!
  2. Follow on Google Friend Connect
  3. Follow on Networked Blogs (Facebook)

Contest will end 6/18/2010 and is open to US residents only.  Thanks for entering and spread the word!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Noodles & Company and received five Noodles & Company bowl cards to facilitate my review. Mom Central also sent me a thank-you gift certificate.
