If you are anything like me then you love to have that opportunity to just soak in the tub. That opportunity (even if it doesn’t come often enough) can be much more enjoyable that just soaking in the tub. Create yourself a mini home spa and it doesn’t need to cost a lot.
I started out my home spa by purchasing some decorative glass jars at the Goodwill. Each one of these beautiful jars cost $.75-$1. I wouldn’t consider that expensive at all. After I got them home I washed them well and set them upside down so that they would dry completely. You don’t want things sticking to the insides of your jars.
Next you are going to fill your jars. I filled mine with salts, calgon (oh yeah take me away!), bath therapy (I love this stuff!) and oatmeal soak. These are my favorite bath additives but you can use whatever suits your fancy in your own jars. After you have them filled you will want to put them on a nice shelf or in a pretty basket that is just for you. Add a couple candles in your favorite scent to the mix and you now have a mini spa waiting for you and your private quiet moments. Enjoy!

Thrift-storing is so fun. There’s a huge Salvation Army Family Store near me that always has neat things. I’ve been keeping my eye out for a glass jar to keep creamer in. It’s purely aesthetics, but it’s worth it :p
