Hypothyroid, Kitchen Woes and More
Yesterday I spent my morning at the doctor discussing a plan of action for my hypothyroidism. I am having some issues with the medications I was priorly prescribed. I have a new dosage plan and if the side effects continue I will have to go see an endocrinologist. I hope I don’t see them this round seriously! I have been fighting severe fatigue and some days getting up to do much of anything just doesn’t happen. I really feel like I am struggling to be a decent mom but I guess it came to the point I had to take care of me first. I don’t feel like my blogging is up to par and I apologize. If you have a prayer list I would appreciate you keeping me in mind as this has really been a struggle. I tend to be the glue around here with everyone having medical issues I really have to keep going.
To try to catch up today I cleared the fridge of any spoiled leftovers (yes we get a few) and whew that job is done (ICK). It opened my eyes that I need to start doing my single serving freezer meals again and maybe I should blog a bit about that some day hmmm another thing to add to the list. I still have a ton of dishes to catch up on but I think I may delegate parts of that chore.
So anyway if you don’t see me for a day don’t worry I am likely trying to catch a nap or staring off into space like a zombie now doesn’t that scare you.

Hoping that the new dosage will work and that you will get to feeling better. You’ll be in my thoughts!
Are you taking Synthroid or the generic?
The generic does not work for me.
Good luck working this out!
Praying that the doctors will get things figured out and that you feel better soon.
I also have hypothyroidism and used to go to my primary physician for treatment. After the initial dosage, I didn’t feel any better and the Dr said my blood work was fine. I finally made an appt to see an endocronoligist and she said they were in the acceptable range, but the low end and she upped the dosage. I do feel better, but still have thinning hair and dry skin, just think it goes along with it. If you have to see a specialist, it may be very helpful in the long run. good luck!
