I also have hypothyroidism and used to go to my primary physician for treatment. After the initial dosage, I didn't feel any better and the Dr said my blood work was fine. I finally made an appt to see an endocronoligist and she said they were in the acceptable range, but the low end and she upped the dosage. I do feel better, but still have thinning hair and dry skin, just think it goes along with it. If you have to see a specialist, it may be very helpful in the long run. good luck!

Are you taking Synthroid or the generic?
The generic does not work for me.
Good luck working this out!
